  • IMBA Ride Center: The Sun Valley area (Ketchum, Hailey, and surrounding areas) is recognized as an IMBA Silver-Level Ride Center. This acknowledges the vast mileage, high quality, and diversity of trails in the Wood River Valley.

  • Sun Valley Resort Trails / Bald Mountain: Offers lift-accessed downhill trails with significant vertical, from the challenging, expert-only Warm Springs Trail to more intermediate flow trails like Lupine. Also features extensive cross-country trails.

  • Adam's Gulch: A very popular and accessible network of trails right outside Ketchum. Offers a wide variety of options, from the beginner-friendly Adam's Gulch Loop to the challenging climb and descent of Forbidden Fruit or the flow of Griffin Butte Connector.

  • Corral Creek / Pioneer Mountains: Known for classic singletrack with good climbs and rewarding descents like the Corral Creek Trail itself. Offers beautiful views and a more backcountry feel.

  • Galena Lodge Trails: Located north of Ketchum, this area has a fantastic network of multi-use trails (groomed for Nordic skiing in winter) offering beautiful scenery and options for various skill levels during the summer. Trails like Senate Meadows and Rip and Tear are popular.

  • Osberg Ridge / Chocolate Gulch: Provides challenging climbs and technical descents with great views.
